Know When to Walk Away
A crucial skill in gambling is self-control. Many players lose everything simply because they don’t know when to stop.
- Set a winning goal and cash out when you reach it. A good rule of thumb is to withdraw at least 50% of your profits once you’ve doubled your bankroll.
- Avoid chasing losses. Losing streaks happen, but going all-in to recover losses usually leads to bigger losses.
- Take breaks. A fresh mind makes better decisions. If you're on a losing streak, step away and come back later.
The best gamblers aren’t just lucky—they’re disciplined. Knowing when to stop is the key to long-term success.
